Congratulations, Alex Ovechkin, on 600 Career Goals
I had the pleasure of witnessing Alex Ovechkin scoring his 599th and 600th career goals from a place I’m not normally – from the 4th row. That gave me a different perspective from my usual bird’s eye view. So I got a fairly nice sequence of events after the Caps beat Winnipeg, 3-2, in overtime.
There’s little else that can be said about Ovechkin’s feat that hasn’t already been said (although he did say the media pestering him about getting 600 was ‘annoying’ but that’s about it), so here’s a short sequence of photos that one girl will never forget:
