Just like we expected, the Capitals won Game 4 on Thursday, 2-1, to even the first round series with Boston at 2-2. The victory came almost entirely due to the play of Braden Holtby, who made 44 saves, including one as time expired. The game, by the way, was extended by several seconds on the final play due to a failure to start the game clock when the puck dropped. Click on the box score for a larger version.
