Ovechkin’s Stats

With two goals Friday against Atlanta, Alex Ovechkin got the fourth 50-goal season of his career, joining only Wayne Gretzky and Mike Bossy as the only ones to do that in their first five seasons in the league. According to Coach Boudreau, Ovechkin keeps bugging him to have Sunday off against Boston, despite the race against Henrik Sedin for the Art Ross trophy and Sydney Crosby for the Richard trophy.
