Alex Ovechkin Enters Top 20 in All-Time in NHL Points

(Caps Outsider)

As Alex Ovechkin is vying to become the all-time NHL goal leader, tonight he quietly entered the top-20 in all-time NHL points.

With a four-point night against Vancouver, including his 781st and 782nd career goals, Ovi now has 1,415 points, one ahead of Doug Gilmour. Ovi is actually now tied with Sidney Crosby on the list (Crosby went pointless on Monday), and the two are likely to go back and forth as they’re the only active players up that high.

Other names on the list: Adam Oates with 1,420, Bryan Trottier with 1,425, and Teemu Selanne with 1,457.
