Andre Burakovsky’s Gift Basket Tops Bidding

This is the winning gift basket.

The Caps held their annual Better Halves gift basket auction on Friday, with the proceeds benefitting the Monumental Sports and Entertainment Foundation.

The top-earning gift basket was from none other than Caps forward Andre Burakovsky, which included a bunch of autographed stuff: a jersey, gloves, a bobblehead, game tickets, Game of Thrones win, Swedish Ballerina Choko cookies, and ginger snaps.

The baskets, or buckets, sold for a lot of money and contained a bunch of random things that the players autographed. The total amount raised was $50,800.
