Alex Ovechkin Passes Teemu Selanne for 11th on All-Time Goals List

With a goal against Carolina on Monday – not to mention a second one later on – Alex Ovechkin passed Teemu Selanne for 11th place on the all-time goals list with the 685th of his career (and later, the 686th).
Ovechkin also recently passed Selanne for third place on the all-time power play goal list.
Next up for Ovi will be to pass Mario Lemieux, who has 690 career goals, then Steve Yzerman with 692, and Mark Messier with 694. Former Capital Mike Gartner has 708.
