Hockey is a difficult sport to explain to non-hockey people sometimes. Any non-fan who saw the rough-fest on the Penguins bench at 8:13 of the first period Wednesday would have certainly figured the melee would be considered a fight. But even ordinary fans would think, hmmm, Tom Wilson on the Penguins’s bench can’t be a good thing, with Michael Latta in the middle of it as well.
