The Caps sported purple jerseys for Hockey Fights Cancer night. The jerseys were auctioned off during the game with the proceeds donated to charity. Here are more of our photos. There’s a great one of Nicklas Backstrom at the end.
The jerseys were not washed before being auctioned off, and according to those handling them, they didn’t smell too good.
