Capitals Nail Art!

Over the years, folks have shown off their Caps fandom in many creative ways, with tattoos, custom clothing, jerseys, beards, and decked out vehicles. I recently met Katina Krasnec, who showed me her Jurassic Park-inspired nails, and told me about her various Capitals nails (pictured).

Krasnec has been a Caps fan since 2017, when she moved into the area from Idaho, just in time for the Stanley Cup run. Previously, she was a fan of the Colorado Avalanche and L.A. Kings. She also speaks Slovak and converses with Caps legend Peter Bondra when they run into each other, as they did at Craig Laughlin’s charity event this past Friday.

Some other folks have posted photos of their Caps-themed nail art, posted below, while others take the easy way out and buy stickers.

Krasnec is also the owner of one of those 12-foot skeletons, which she, of course, decked out in Caps gear (pictured below). No word on the skeleton’s nails.

See more of Katina’s nail art on her Instagram page, @ascientistdoesnails.
