The yearly stadium giveaway bobblehead game is always a fun time at Capital One Arena, and Alex Ovechkin will be getting his fourth SGA, and first since 2015 when the Caps play Columbus on March 21.
The bobblehead, which will have a goal counter, will also have a QR code for “AR Ovi,” an augmented reality experience, and there will be plenty of other Alex Ovechkin-related activities at the game.
The Caps will also honor Ovi that night with a pre-game ceremony for passing Gordie Howe on the all-time goal-scoring list, with 802. The Caps will all wear No. 8 for warm ups, and those jerseys will be signed and auctioned off for charity.
