Caps Fans Get Married During Warmups
Caps fans Mark Greenstein and Ryn Weil got married on Thursday right before the Caps faced off against the Montreal Canadiens. The couple, from Columbia, Md. were also celebrating their 5-year anniversary together.
Wearing commemorative jerseys – a ‘Bride 02’ and a ‘Groom 20’ – the two said their vows down in section 110, as witnessed by the groom’s brother (aka the guy in the ‘Officiant’ jersey), who married them, another in a ‘Bridesmaid’ jersey, and a surrounding audience, as the Caps warmed up.
Weil and Greenstein then took their seats and watched the game.
Earlier in the day, the Caps got a heads up and tweeted a photo of them at practice.
Congratulations to the happy couple!
Does it get any more #ALLCAPS than this?!
Congrats to Mark and Ryn, who will be joined by family and friends in the stands at Capital One, as they celebrate their five-year anniversary by officially tying the knot before puck drop. 🤵👰 pic.twitter.com/OGgTufqXLJ
