Photos: 2019 USA Hockey Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony

USA Hockey came to D.C. on Thursday to celebrate Gary Bettman, Brian Gionta, Fort Dupont coach Neal Henderson, Tim Thomas, and Krissy Wendell.

Thomas gave an emotional interview about his hockey-related brain trauma.

Alex Ovechkin won the Wayne Gretzky International Award, which was accepted on his behalf by Caps owner Ted Leonsis.

Henderson spoke at length, telling a heartfelt story about coaching a deaf and mute player.

Leonsis bought all of the Fort Dupont kids in attendance USA Hockey gloves and scarves and matched overall donations to it.
