Farewell and Good Luck, Andre Burakovsky
The Caps on Friday tradedĀ Andre Burakovsky for a couple of draft picks to Colorado. After putting up 38 points in 2015-16, and 35 in 2016-17, he’s only managed 25 points each of the past two seasons, and the Caps expected more, considering the $3 million they’ve been paying the 24-year-old. However, he did play a key role in helping to bring the Stanley Cup to D.C. For that, we will never forgetĀ him, as he’s earned a permanent place in our hearts.
Godspeed.
