Aaron Ness Will Be Okay!
Last night, Hershey Bear defensemen Aaron Ness crashed the net hard and lost control at full speed. Ness had his legs hit the post which spun him around. When approaching the boards, Ness’ head made contact first, causing him to bend in a way most humans aren’t supposed to bend.

Players from both teams gathered on the ice as worry started to settle in. While Ness was carted off the ice, his teammates gathered around to show support.

Ness was sent to the Bridgeport hospital and received x-rays that same night. We are happy to report that Ness will be just fine! Here is the official statement from the Hershey Bears:
