The Hershey Bears (15-18-0-2) face off against the Milwaukee Admirals (18-12-5-1) for the second time this season (first time in Hershey).  Last time out, the Admirals defeated the Bears 5-1 on October 13th.

Featured in this game was the Star Wars jerseys that were auctioned off after the game.  Proceeds from these jerseys will be given to charities around the area.  Here are the results of the auction: HERE

1st Period:

The Bears got the game started off on the right foot.  While on the power play, Aaron Ness shot the puck from the point which was tipped by Nathan Walker to give the Bears a 1-0 lead late in the first period.  This was Walker’s 15th goal of the season.  Assists were given to Ness and Riley Barber.

Just before the period ended, the Admirals struck back.  Anthony Richard scored this 13th goal of the season on a short power play.  He scored off of a one timer pass from Alexandre Carrier.  The game went into the locker room tied 1-1.

2nd Period:

Both teams struggled to generate any offense during the second period.  Only 12 shots total for the period between both the Bears and Admirals.  Unfortunately, the bad guys had two of their five shots go in.

Zach Magwood was left alone in front of Ilya Samsonov.  Jared VanWormer made a great play while falling down, passing the puck to Magwood while behind the net.  Magwood made no mistake and gave Milwaukee a 2-1 lead.

One minute later, the Admirals took advantage of Liam O’Brien’s broken stick in the defensive zone.  Jarred Tinordi scored his fourth goal of the season from the point, using a screen to beat Samsonov.  This gave the Admirals a 3-1 lead going into intermission.

3rd Period:

The period was played tight but Hershey could not find a way to get another puck past Tom McCollum.  The Bears had their chances in front of the net but could not find a way to get the puck to hit the net.  Many missed opportunities that left the players frustrated as they went home.

The Milwaukee Admirals defeat the Hershey Bears 3-1.
