Photos Of Record-Setting Teddy Bear Toss at Hershey Bears Game
At the Hershey Bears game on Sunday, 34,798 stuffed animals were thrown onto the ice after the Bears scored their first goal of the game. This is a new world record, which was previously held by the Calgary Hitmen in 2015 (28,815). The previous personal record for Hershey was 25,017 which happened in 2017.
CommunityAid donated $.50 for every bear collected, up to $15,000 and a club seat member donated $1 for every bear on the behalf of the Sweigart Family Foundation.
