Ovechkin Holding the Cup – Custom Bobblehead From BobbleHouse

(Photos via BobbleHouse)

We’ve seen Braden Holtby’s The Save, T.J. Oshie drinking a beer through his shirt, Evgeny Kuznetsov doing the birdman celebration, but arguably the most iconic pose of this season’s Stanley Cup is Alex Ovechkin lifting the Cup for the first time.

BobbleHouse, a Virginia-based manufacturer of sports bobblehead display cases, has been creating custom bobbleheads of these moments. Unfortunately, they’re not for sale, but they’re fun to look at.

Rest assured, there is still a possibility that Forever Collectibles – creators of the Caps holding the Cup bobbleheads that are available for presale – will make something along these lines. Just this past week, they announced that their version of The Save is for sale (see it here and pre-order). Perhaps they’ll get approval to make these others for our mantle, as well (though don’t expect the Oshie one, or a bobble of Ovi doing a keg stand or swimming in the fountain).

Here are more photos of BobbleHouse’s custom bobbleheads. Also, check out their display cases, which are for sale:

The folks at BobbleHouse are big Caps and Nats fans, and you can purchase their bobblehead display cases at their site, including this beauty:
