Capitals Fall to Canucks in OT

The Capitals lost a heartbreaker to the Vancouver Canucks 3-2 in OT at home on Sunday, February 11th, which happened to be the day of Super Bowl LVIII.

Washington now has an all-time record of 17-14-2-1 on Super Bowl Sunday, as their 17 wins on this special day are the second most in NHL history.

The Caps have played 34 games on the day of the Big Game since 1975 (their expansion season), with 32 of them having coming at home in DC.
