via Sarah Hobday
The Hershey Bears announced on Wednesday that they have re-signed Parker Milner to a one-year AHL contract.
Milner, 27, posted a 28-7-3 record. He had a goals against average of 1.86, best in the ECHL, and the fourth best in league history. His save percentage .929 was third best in the ECHL . Lastly, he recorded three shutouts. All of this led him to All-ECHL First Team honors.
Milner is expected to be back in Charleston for the upcoming season.
Just as it's important for the Caps to stock the Bears, it's important for the Bears to stock the @SCStingrays. Plan likely sees Milner providing depth for the Bears while being the go-to-guy in Charleston. Samsonov/Vanecek likely tandem in Hershey next year. https://t.co/W6NuTOIBxj
