In celebration of Hockey Is For Everyone month, today the Washington Capitals invited players from local American Special Hockey Teams to participate in a skills exhibition during the 2nd intermission. Players from the Washington Ice Dogs, NOVA Cool Cats and Montgomery Cheetahs participated, and we’ve gathered some of their social posts to share with you below.

To highlight the true inclusiveness found in the sport of hockey, the Capitals are recognizing different diverse groups during each February home game, including those with special needs, children, the LGBTQ community, African-Americans, women and the military.
