Former Caps Radio Guy Ron Weber Inducted into Washington Sports Hall of Fame

Former Capitals’ radio announcer Ron Weber was inducted into the Washington D.C. Sports Hall of Fame, along with several others. The ceremony was held at Nats Park.

With the Caps, Weber broadcasted 1,939  Capitals game until he retired on retired on April 13, 1997. Weber has also been honored by the Hockey Hall of Fame.

Dan Steinberg at D.C. Sports Bog recently caught up with Weber, finding out he still takes Metro to nearly every home game.
