The Orange #RallyBalloon
A #RallyBallon made a brief appearance at Verizon Center this evening, in a scene reminiscent of a 2011 game versus the Coyotes. It floated around the arena for about ten minutes, and enticed some attempts on the ice by both the referee and Braden Holtby to catch it, before it was ultimately captured in the stands. It had no effect on the game, but for a few brief moments, it was fun to tweet about…

An orange balloon is causing a huge commotion here in Washington. Holtby couldn’t stop it, so he’s got no chance tonight #TMLtalk pic.twitter.com/HhAHF220px
