Caps Autographed Christmas Balls Are Back!

Pick-A-Ball – Alex Ovechkin (red) & Braden Holtby (white)

The Washington Capitals Fan Club is once again selling autographed Christmas ornaments to fans, located on the Verizon Center concourse outside section 115. The proceeds will go to charity. We’ll let them explain:

The Washington Capitals Fan Club has the perfect solution for holiday gifts for fellow Caps fans! Once again this holiday season the Fan Club will have their “Rock the Red” Christmas Balls autographed by Capitals players. There will be a blind draw of both red balls signed in gold and white balls signed in red with each “Pick-A-Ball” signed by two players, with the exception of a few signed by Alex Ovechkin. A limited number of balls signed by Alex Ovechkin, Braden Holtby, Nicklas Bäckström, or TJ Oshie (guaranteed signature) will also be available. These will be available at the Fan Club table on the concourse outside Section 115 at all home games starting November 21.

There will also be Christmas Balls decorated by or with holiday greeting from some of the Capitals players. Some will be available at each home game startingNovember 21, with each Christmas Ball going to the highest bidder at the end of the second intermission.

There will also be a raffle for a large red team-signed ball. The winner will be drawn during the second intermission of the Capitals-Lightning game on December 18 (the last home game before Christmas).

Stop by the Fan Club table at Section 115 at Verizon Center during any home game for additional information or from November 21 through Christmas to purchase your Christmas Balls. They make a great gift for any Capitals fan on your Christmas list. All proceeds will go to Fort Dupont Kids on Ice program to fund their first summer hockey camp.

The Washington Capitals Fan Club, a member of the National Hockey League Booster Clubs, was established in 1974 for the purpose of developing an interest in the Washington Capitals hockey club, and the sport of ice hockey as played by the National Hockey League.
