Capitals captain and the NHL’s leading goal scorer Alex Ovechkin made his way to Laurel on Saturday, as he and teammate Troy Brouwer headed out to Sports Card Heroes on Main Street in Laurel, Md. The owner said it was the first time in three years that Ovechkin appeared at a non-Caps or sponsor sanctioned event to sign autographs.
