The Royals can pretend they’re Olympians as they sport these beauties.

The Reading Royals have been notorious for showing of special jerseys throughout the years, whether they be a tribute to another team, such as the Caps, or just for a holiday or event. This year, the Royals have gone even further with their specialty jerseys, releasing nine different ones that they’ll wear at some point. So far, they have shown off special Kelly Cup jerseys, which were worn in the home opener, and frightful Halloween jerseys, but there is much more to come. Let’s take a look at what the Royals will be showing off and when you can get a chance to see them play in them.

Not wanting their other affiliates to feel left out, the Royals also decided that they would pay tribute to the Hershey Bears, their AHL parent team. With the layout similar to the regular Royals jerseys, this one has the colors of your Bears. This chocolate-covered jersey will be worn by your Royals when they take on the Elmira Jackals on January 12th.
