Capitals associate goaltending coach and D.C. hockey legend Olaf Kolzig is 42 today. Kolzig is the most successful goaltender in Washington history and fans cannot honor him enough (at least until his number is raised to the rafters!). Because Caps fans right now are a bit weary of the team’s future, it’s never too soon to get nostalgic and celebrate past players instead of focusing too much attention on current troubles.
