As if we didn’t already have enough of these, plastic sculpture king Todd McFarlane is releasing NHL Series 29, and with it comes Alex Ovechkin 6. This one has him sporting his Winter Classic jersey, his CCM gear (as opposed to Bauer, which he uses now), and it looks like he’s tap-dancing.
Relative to past sculptures of Ovie, this one isn’t bad, especially because Alex Ovechkin 4 which also came out recently looks like Sloth from Goonies.
There should only be one more made of these, and that is of Ovie holding the Stanley Cup after it happens. But knowing McFarlane, he’s not even halfway done with the Ovie toys.
