Ever since Alex Ovechkin and Sidney Crosby entered the league in 2005, they have been pitted against each other.

From the race for the Calder Cup to their playoff and Olympic performances, every inch of the two players’ styles has been compared.

Every time the Washington Capitals and Pittsburgh Penguins faceoff against each other, the focus is on Crosby vs. Ovechkin. But there’s so much more to that rivalry.
