Bored watching the Caps game last night, I had a epiphany about Mike Knuble. He’s got the mug of a Hollywood actor. And not just any actor: Harrison Ford. Sure, he’s not a dead ringer, but had Ford looked like Mike Knuble, I’d bet not a thing wold be different in Ford’s career. That means Han Solo, Indiana Jones, Jack Ryan, that doctor who killed his wife, and Colonel Woodrow Dolarhyde would look like the guy above.
Needing approval, I took to Twitter, and Twitter agreed. But it wasn’t just Harrison Ford roles. According to these fine folks, Knuble has the face to have played any of these roles.
That got me thinking. Since Knuble clearly could look like the biggest movie star on the planet, which other Capitals have the face AND personality to have played movie characters? We’ll think about this and ask Twitter when the Capitals are getting shut out and we don’t feel like marking up a corny box score after the game.
As for Knuble, he’s now gotta learn to act to fulfill his destiny. But if that doesn’t work out, he’ll always have the bobblehead.
