A brand new copy of Alex Ovechkin: The Gr8 DVD sold for $50 on eBay with 21 bids. Note that the copy wasn’t autographed, owned, or even held by Ovechkin, though some folks do have autographed ones up for bid.
Why is this interesting? Because it is available on Amazon.com for $12.99. Even other sellers on eBay are selling it for cheaper. Either Ovie’s stock has gone up recently and people are willing to spend more on his products, or some folks literally want to throw away their money. Or both.
