D.J. King Playing Wednesday?

Bruce Boudreau said in his post-game press conference Sunday that team enforcer D.J. King will ‘probably’ play against his former team when the Caps travel to St. Louis on Wednesday.

King was drafted by St. Louis in 2002 but spent a lot of time in the AHL before coming to Washington over the summer, but has seen limited ice time. This season, King has been a healthy scratch in all but six games, and hasn’t played since the Caps faced the Rangers in New York on Nov. 9. In that game, he skated only five shifts for about 4 minutes of ice time, and was -1.

Though King only has two fights this season, it’s always fun to speculate who – not if – he will fight when he finally gets back on the ice. B.J. Crombeen? Brad Winchester? Yeah, I don’t know who those guys are, either. So I asked Twitter, and got these responses.

My vote is for Jaroslav Halak.

Now let’s watch the Colton Orr fight again.
