My how time flies while watching fan favorite John Carlson grow up. Still technically a rookie, it’s actually been a whole year since Carlson first suited up for the Capitals.
Carlson, now 20, made his NHL debut against the Montreal Canadiens on Nov. 20, 2009. The Caps lost, 3-2, at home. Carlson skated 17:24, got a shot on goal, and registered five hits and a blocked shot.
