A Real Caps LEGO Figure

Capitals Outsider once discovered a drawing of a Caps player as a LEGO. Then we got artist Dave Delisle of Dave’s Geeky Ideas to make an animated LEGO of Alex Ovechkin.

Now, we FINALLY found a real Capitals LEGO figure. This is custom made and sold by mie131 on eBay, who has a store called All Things Hockey, including minifigs from most teams. For $4.00 more, you can get the jersey personalized with a name and number on the back. For best results, max 10 characters for the name. Sorry, Lou Franceschetti.

While these figures have a helmet, stick, team logo, and rather large puck, they don’t have the LEGO ice skates, which are available separately from other sellers and would definitely make these figures more worth it if they were included. Ideally these figures would more closely resemble the concept art below we found, but I’d imagine the price would be much higher.

Purchase this and other figures here.
