On Monday, the Washington Capitals announced the team’s promotional schedule release for the 2023-24 season presented by Capital One, highlighted by several all-fan giveaways, theme nights, and unique gift with purchase opportunities.

This year’s promotional schedule features a unique offering of nearly 30 theme nights, 14 all-fan giveaways, and nearly 20 special team offers.

One notable promotion is Chia Milano night on Jan. 11, 2024 against the Seattle Kraken. This themed night is a tribute to Capitals forward Sonny Milano, who has become a fan favorite known for his poofy hair that he let grow during the COVID-19 pandemic.

All fans in attendance that night will receive a Chia Milano chia seed planter, as it’s the most unusual item on the team’s promotional calendar.

Another promotion includes four Capitals-themed crossover jerseys. The Caps football jersey will be available for the team’s traditional Super Bowl matinee on Feb. 11 against the Vancouver Canucks.

Capitals soccer (Nov. 8), basketball (March 20) and baseball (March 24) jerseys will also be available, and season ticket holders will have access to purchase special ticket offer gifts without purchasing additional tickets.

Other highlights among the upcoming campaign include a bucket hat (Oct. 24), fanny pack (Nov. 2), holiday beanie (Dec. 20), Hawaiian shirt (March 22) and Darcy Kuemper bobblehead (March 26).

The promo schedule’s many theme nights include Oktoberfest (Oct. 27), #Capsgiving (Nov. 22) and Pride (March 20).

The Capitals will debut several music-focused theme nights, which will include pregame concerts at the District E event space adjacent to Capital One Arena.
