Alex Ovechkin Passes Brett Hull on All-Time Goal Scoring List

(via the Caps)
After being held without a shot in Thursday’s 2-0 victory against Detroit, Alex Ovechkin scored on his first shot on goal in the first period against the Blue Jackets Friday, giving him 742 career goals which passes Brett Hull for fourth all-time. The Caps won, 4-3.
Ovi now needs 25 goals to pass Jaromir Jagr, 60 goals to pass Gordie Howe, and 153 goals to pass Gretzky. He can do this.
“The Great 8. You have lived up to your nickname, and more,” Hull said in a tribute video.
