Rock the Red! Caps Re-Sign Liam O’Brien

(Caps Outsider)

Welcome back, Big Red! The Caps on Friday announced they signed winger Liam O’Brien to a one-year, two-way contract for $650,000/$85,000.

Considering the Caps need to start using their AHL players, O’Brien may see some more time in Washington this coming year, though it’s likely he’ll still be spending most of his time in Hershey.

O’Brien, 22, actually made the opening night roster two seasons ago when some players were injured, and stayed through November.

He was named the team’s winner of the IOA/American Specialty AHL Man of the Year award for his outstanding contributions to the Hershey community during the 2016-17 season.
