The Hershey Bears looked to bounce back Sunday against the Springfield Thunderbirds after dropping two straight this weekend.

Paul Carey continued his point streak to 18 games when he scored at the 18:55 of the first period, with assists by Liam O’Brien and Madison BoweyDarren Dietz and Zach Sill would add to the lead in the second period scoring goals just 19 seconds apart. Chris Bourque would add a third period tally to make the score 4-0. Vitek Vanecek stopped 22 of 22 shots to give him another shutout on the season.

After tonight’s win, the Bears will have a much deserved and earned holiday break. The Chocolate and White will return to action Monday, December 26th in Lehigh.
