The 2016-17 NHL season is almost here, which means promotional schedules are being released. Some will have bobbleheads and some will not, but luckily for Caps fans, this year’s promotional schedule will feature a bobblehead of… TBD! For the first time in Caps history, you the fans will have the opportunity to decide which Washington Capitals player will be made into a bobblehead.
In honor of the upcoming presidential election, the Capitals have decided to join in on the fun by holding an election of their own. On Tuesday, November 8th, all fans in attendance will have the opportunity to vote on which player they think should be the bobblehead handed out on Tuesday, March 21st when the Capitals take on the Calgary Flames.
We have recently discussed our Inova Blood Drive bobblehead picks, so that leaves some slim pickings for a Caps player to get a first-time bobblehead. This is an opportunity for Caps fans to get a bobblehead of a player that may never have the chance again to get one *cough* Taylor Chorney *cough*. So if you really want to have a say in which Caps player is getting a bobblehead night this season then make sure you attend the Caps game on November 8th to cast your ballot!
