Bears and Caps Alum Connor Carrick Grateful After Loss

Sunday evening, the Hershey Bears defeated the Toronto Marlies 3-2 to take the series 4-1 and advance to the Calder Cup Finals. Former Bear, Connor Carrick, who was traded to Toronto near the NHL trade deadline, was emotional after this series.

As seen in the photo above, Carrick and Liam O’Brien, former roommates, embraced in the handshake line.

Bears defender Erik Burgdoerfer also took to Twitter to complement Carrick after this exchange in the handshake line

Finally, Carrick talked about how he was grateful to the Bears organization.

Congrats to the Toronto Marlies and Connor Carrick on a great series and a great season. Carrick had 18 points in 15 playoff games for Toronto.
