(Caps Outsider)
The Washington Capitals are going all out (or should I say, growing all out, haha) this year with a special section on their site dedicated to Movember.
The site features fan drawings of mustaches on Caps’ players faces (most of which are utterly hilarious), a ‘Daily Mo‘ photo of Tom Wilson, and, of course, links to join and donate to the team’s charity page.
Their motivation for participating in this charity? To change the face of men’s health (psst, that’s the default text, but we won’t hold that against them!)
While anyone can join, it’s fun to see which Capitals raise the most. Right now, staff writer Mike Vogel leads the team in donations. Team captain Karl Alzner has raised $27 (of course). Alzner, by the way, is also raising money separately with former teammate Jeff Halpern‘s Astro Doughnuts.
Anyway, check out the site, especially to see Wilson’s progress, and don’t forget to donate… “to change the face of men’s health!”
