Last week we found the first public photo of the Nicklas Backstrom Winter Classic bobblehead, which will be given out to Caps Kids Club members this season. At the season opener, we got photos of that one and only prototype.
Where are the rest? They won’t be around until December 1, at the latest. The reason for the delay was that they couldn’t even begin making these until the Winter Classic uniforms were approved.
The Caps tell me that about 3000 will be made, though I suspect thy have the option for more, considering the number of people in line to sign up for the Caps Kids Club at the home opener.
