Remember last season at the beginning of the playoffs when the Capitals played Metallica’s “Nothing Else Matters” before the game? It didn’t bring them any luck, but it really was a cool introduction.
The message is the same this season. Nothing else matters but the Stanley Cup. And you know what? Same thing next year, and the year after. Who cares if this particular video didn’t work last season, let’s watch it again, and hope Caps Game Entertainment comes up with something just as cool this time around (we’re predicting it’ll have something to do with Ozzy).
UPDATE: Capitals Game Entertainment said no Metallica, no Ozzy, but maybe Madonna’s Lucky Star. I will walk out of the building if they do that.
