A number of noteworthy things happened in Saturday’s 5-4 overtime victory against Buffalo. A retiring referee (did I just hear someone yell ‘who cares’ and ‘ref you suck’?). Jason Arnott’s 400th career goal. Ovechkin’s 30th (which matched… Buffalo’s Drew Safford for the season). Most interestingly, Nick Backstrom bobbleheads made the rounds and were already on eBay, here and here, before the game was over. Don’t pay $100, like the Varley bobblehead has been getting.
