What wonderful memories this image, posted by Japer’s Rink, brings back. This particular version is from the 1988-89 Team Calendar apparently, which I did not have. However I did have this same image in poster form, and it hung on my wall as a child. I believe the poster included the words, “A Touch of Class” and was given away at a game by a car dealership. I had previously looked for this image online, as my poster found its way to the garbage long ago. Back in the day at the Capital Centre, I believe the giveaways came more often, or maybe it was that I just only went to games when they gave something away? The three players pictured here are of course Mike Gartner, Rod Langway, and Scott Stevens.
