The Washington Capitals are Stanley Cup Champions and that means one thing… WE GET BOBBLEHEADS! As we detailed already, there are going to be 24 Stanley Cup-themed bobbleheads, produced by FOCO, available come September. Since that’s still a ways away we thought it would be fun to spend that time taking a closer look at each bobblehead included in this lineup.
Before this incredible run you could mention the name Brooks Orpik and a civil war would erupt between Capitals fans. I’ll keep this one short and highlight one stat that will be etched into Washington Capitals history forever:
Brooks Orpik scored the first Stanley Cup GWG in Washington Capitals history. (He also assisted on the Devante Smith-Pelly GTG in the Cup clinching game which was pretty good too)
This one is another really good bobblehead. It captures his wide, blue eyes and his set of pearly whites. On top of that all is his thick, full beard that was so well kept during the Capitals playoff run. Orpik has always kept his looks in order and this bobblehead has done a good job of displaying that.
