Wishing a Fond Farewell to Steve Oleksy
Hershey Bears captain Steve Oleksy officially departed the Washington Capitals organization Wednesday after signing a deal with the Pittsburgh Penguins. Caps Outsider would like to wish Oleksy a very fond farewell. In the three years he was around, Oleksy went above and beyond what most players do to connect with fans and the media, staying very active on twitter, spending time with fans (sometimes a lot of them) and giving great interviews.
Here are some of our favorite Oleksy photos from the past three years:

Steve – you’ve got a fan for life in us. Best of luck with the rest of your hockey career, with eastsideelitehockey.com, and life in general.
Thank you to all the incredible people that made my 3 years in Wash & Hersh memorable but ecstatic to be part of the @penguins organization.
