Stanislav Galiev’s First NHL Goal Was Kind of a Bummer

In his second career NHL game, Stanislav Galiev scored his first career goal. But it was in the final minutes of a losing effort in the final regular season game.

“I’m excited and it’s a great memory, but I would rather the boys have a win today. But it’s a great feeling.”

Galiev, 23, will likely be heading back to Hershey for the Bears’ playoff run. He previously won a Kelly Cup with the Reading Royals a couple of years ago.

“I’ve had a tremendous week. I made my NHL debut and I get a goal.”
