Capitals and Bears defenseman Tyson Strachan signed with the Buffalo SabresĀ on Friday, ending his tenure in Washington and Hershey.

Though he wasn’t with the team long, he was well-liked by his teammates and an all-around good guy. He brought his charity, Strachan Strays, to Hershey and Washington, helping to raise money for homeless animals and to promote pet adoption.

We wish Strachan all the best in Buffalo.
