Capitals Outsider reader Dave Phillips decided that the difference between winning and losing is only in our heads. If we convince ourselves that the Caps had beaten the Rangers, we can continue this playoff run against New Jersey. So, much like Fan Fiction, he’s writing what we all wished had happened. With a lot of effort, we can become delusional and believe this is true!

Follow Dave’s articles on his site, as the Capitals try to win their second consecutive Stanley Cup. Yes, second consecutive, because last year they won it too, remember?
