Holtbeast Action Figure Giveaway!
When the Washington Capitals promotional schedule came out, there was one night in particular that got our attention. That night was “Holtbeast Night” which was scheduled for February 26th. However, the Caps did not give any further information as to what made that night “Holtbeast Night.” Until now.
Earlier today, the Caps opened up a new Instagram account with the handle “TheHoltbeast” and the first picture posted was of a peculiar action figure of fan favorite Braden Holtby. However, there are a few strange features.
As you can see, this action figure really captured the “Beast” in “Holtbeast” with werewolf-like hands and feet with vicious claws at the tip of his fingers. Along with that you don’t see as much as a grin on the beast’s face, as a beast should normally look, and the beast looks ready to start in net for the Caps, even equipped with a goalie helmet.
Similar nights have been done by the Caps NBA counterparts, the Washington Wizards, when they had a Superhero Marcin Gortat action figure night which featured Gortat proudly showing off a Wizards themed superhero suit along with a big red cape.
Sadly, this is not a Holtbeast bobblehead night, but it’s definitely still worth attending. No word on the number being handed out, so make sure you get there early to secure one for yourself!
